EDADYM S.M.S.A. is a 100% subsidiary of HELECTOR S.A., has undertaken the operation and maintenance of the project "Design, Construction, Maintenance and Operation of the Integrated Waste Management System of the Region of Western Macedonia". The project is being carried out by the company EPADYM S.M.S.A., which is a subsidiary of HELECTOR S.A., a member of the Motor Oil Group.
The Mechanical and Biological Treatment plant (MBT) is located in the South Field within the Lignite Center of Western Macedonia and along with the support of the 10 regional Waste Transfer Station, it processes the total Mixed Solid Waste of the region with a maximum capacity of 120 kta.
